This full-day dive tour takes you to two of the most iconic underwater locations in the Galápagos: the dramatic cliffs of Kicker Rock (León Dormido) and the biologically rich waters off Española Island, specifically Gardner Islet and Gardner Bay. Designed for certified divers, this combo offers pelagic sightings, volcanic formations, and varied topography—all in one unforgettable day. ⏰ Departure: 7:00–8:00 a.m. ⏳ Duration: 6–9 hours 📍 Includes: 2 guided dives, naturalist dive guide, full gear, wetsuit, lunch, and beach stop 🌊 Dive 1: Kicker Rock (León Dormido) Towering 150 meters above the ocean, this volcanic tuff formation hides an 18-meter-deep channel between its two vertical rock faces. Beneath the surface lies a bustling marine highway, where divers often encounter: • Hammerhead sharks • White-tip, blacktip, and Galápagos sharks • Manta rays and eagle rays • Turtles and sea lions • Reef fish and nudibranchs With depths of up to 40 meters, strong currents, and variable visibility, this dive site offers a thrilling descent into the heart of Galápagos pelagic action. Recommended for divers with good buoyancy and some open water experience. 🌊 Dive 2: Española – Gardner Islet & Gardner Bay Located in the southeastern part of the archipelago, Española Island is famed for its biodiversity and dramatic underwater terrain. You’ll explore: • Gardner Islet: A maze of rock walls, lava tunnels, and sand channels, offering encounters with moray eels, jacks, reef fish, and the occasional penguin. • Gardner Bay: A gentle slope into deeper water, ideal for spotting eagle rays, Galápagos sharks, green turtles, and manta rays cruising the blue.
