Refund Policy

Refund Policy - the basics

Having said that, a Refund Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and your customers regarding how and if you will provide them with a refund. Online businesses selling products are sometimes required (depending on local laws and regulations) to present their product return policy and refund policy. In some jurisdictions, this is needed in order to comply with consumer protection laws. It may also help you avoid legal claims from customers that are not satisfied with the products they purchased.

What to include in the Refund Policy

Generally speaking, a Refund Policy often addresses these types of issues: the timeframe for asking for a refund; will the refund be full or partial; under which conditions will the customer receive a refund; and much, much more.

Prices and Rates

All prices are in USD and subject to change without notice until payment and booking confirmation are finalized.

Tour package prices are per person in standard double-occupancy hotel rooms. Prices do not include extras, tips, airport taxes, airfare (unless stated), baggage overages, or any item not explicitly listed in the tour itinerary.

Itineraries

While itineraries are carefully planned, operational reasons may require changes in the order of activities or specific routes. These itineraries should be seen as general guides only.

We reserve the right to make modifications without prior notice due to weather, tides, transportation schedules, or any other relevant factors to ensure the best travel experience.

Reservations

Reservations are subject to confirmation upon full payment. Alternatively, if an agreement is reached, partial payments are accepted as follows:

  • 50% for daily dive tours

  • 50% for packages with standard hotels

  • 65% for premium, first-class, or luxury packages and cruises

Remaining balance must be paid between 15 and 90 days before the service begins, depending on the type of package.

 

Payment must be made through our accepted methods. Once confirmed via email and a service voucher is issued, the booking is

guaranteed unless impacted by events described in the "Responsibilities" section.

 

Hotel availability is subject to confirmation. If unavailable, a hotel of similar category and price will be assigned.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

For individual travelers, all services must be fully paid one day before the trip, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation, Refund & Reimbursement Policy

 

(For diving tours only, Land tours and packages are determined by specific operators.)

Individual Travelers

  • Cancellations      ≥30 days before: 30% penalty of total value

  • Cancellations      between 30-21 days: 50% penalty of total value

  • Cancellations      less last  20 Days No refund, including cancellations due to illness

Groups (5 or more divers)

  • Cancellations      ≥30 days before: 30% penalty of total value

  • Cancellations      between 29–21 days: 50% penalty of total value

  • Cancellations      less last  20 Days No refund, including cancellations due to illness

 

Cancellations by OCEANDEEP or Force Majeure:
In case of cancellations due to force majeure (weather, emergencies, government action, etc.), we may offer:

  • 100% credit for future trips

  • Refund minus unrecoverable costs

If cancellation occurs after the trip starts:

  • 100% credit for unused days, or

  • Refund minus unrecoverable costs for unused days

Credits from such cancellations have no expiration and are not redeemable for cash.
