Daphne Wall & Seymour Drift
Daphne Wall & Seymour Drift
Wall dives, rays up close, and calm currents for all levels.
Service Description
The Seymour & Daphne Minor combo offers a fantastic dive day for those who want variety without extreme conditions. From Seymour’s gentle drift to Daphne’s stunning wall dive, this tour gives you two distinct underwater worlds in one unforgettable trip. Daphne Minor, located just off the northern coast of Santa Cruz, is especially popular for its dramatic wall formations and approachable conditions. While the dive is shallow and suitable for all levels, it still delivers excitement thanks to its rich marine life and unique structure. Glide alongside the vertical rock face as you search for juvenile Galápagos sharks, whitetip reef sharks, and graceful eagle rays. The real stars here are the manta rays, which are frequently spotted soaring past—sometimes incredibly close—making even plankton-rich visibility feel magical. Beneath and around the wall, you’ll also find sandy bottoms where sea turtles cruise lazily, reef fish dart between crevices, and occasional hammerheads pass through the blue. The diversity of life and topographic beauty make Daphne a favorite among underwater photographers and relaxed explorers alike. After Daphne, the tour often continues with a drift dive at North Seymour, where currents gently carry you past thriving reefs, white and blacktip sharks, large schools of fish, and playful sea lions. Together, these two sites offer a balanced day of diving—accessible, beautiful, and full of wildlife surprises. This tour is perfect for divers seeking a mellow but visually striking day with great chances of seeing pelagics, rays, and the iconic creatures that make the Galápagos a world-class dive destination.
